KHL treeseedlings

Last month, Kifaru House Lewa donated tree seedlings from their in-house tree nursery to the Ntumburi Secondary School as part of their ongoing conservation efforts with the local schools in the area. A total of 196 seedlings from seven different species of trees were planted. Kifaru House staff and the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy team accompanied the students in planting the trees, and this was followed by a short talk by the camp staff on the importance of conservation and the different career opportunities available to them.

This was a great team effort by the Ntumburi Secondary School, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and Kifaru House Lewa staff.
